20 Questions with Cat-in-the-StockI've meant to publish another stocker interview for this series for quite a while, and the time has finally arrived! This purpose of these articles is to help artists get to know the stock photographers behind the stock that you use in your art.20 Questions with Cat-in-the-Stock by FantasyStock
I was fortunate enough to get an interview with Pierre from Cat-in-the-Stock this time!
Pierre has been providing stock photos at deviantART since November of 2006. As one can tell from even the slightest glimpse of his gallery, this stocker is producing his work in the gorgeous backdrop of France.
This French student of American Literature has published stock-related news articles that enourage readers to get inspired by illustrating famous books, such as Paradise Lost by John Milton and Edgar Allan Poe's <i>

Beautiful Ultra Fractal works, I see an artist trying new things and developing a great style along the way. Looking through her gallery I see that she has a great eye for presentation, using a great mix of colors and shapes together, and adding to them just the right textures to bring it all together. The sky is the limit if she keeps at it.

A veteran to DA but sadly unknown for the most part because he works in mediums that do not get front page exposure much. Putting together words so they portray an idea as well as make the piece visually appealing isn't easy but after looking through his gallery, it's apparent he has the designers skill to pull it
So I finally tweaked the journal to the I-like-it-level. It should work on most browsers (blame MS for no CSS3 support) and on most resolutions. I checked it on 1900-1024 and 1280-1024 and the results were satisfying. Whole development took some time but lets hope it'll last for few journals more.
From the other news I'll need some motivation to finally fulfill an idea i have for few months. I'm writting it now so next day I'll check my dA page I will remember I did a public commitment that my new work will be called 'eatenBy'. On the other hand I'm sure the process will go way faster as soon as I finnish all the necessary paintings.
Last but not least this time I'll start the features. The gems here are the ones I wanted to feature last year, but I was unable due to lack of subscription. They caught my attention mostly by creativity, skill mastery and some of them have touched me on an emotional level. Lets hope you enjoy them.
Happy New Year and thanks for your attention!
